There’s burgeoning demand for designers in India. Design is co-creation through a design process, which could solve complex problems and achieve transformation even at a systemic level. There is a dearth of designers and design educators as compared to rising demand and job opportunities. Although a few design institutes have come up across the country in the last decade, the supply of design professionals will outstrip the demand. In the last fifteen years India has seen many new design school opening and responding to the need for design professionals in the 21st century. However, the country needs to achieve self-reliance its own designers.

The School of Design is committed to imparting all round skills, knowledge, training & competency in the field of design and technology. The course structure is a rational mix of core & optional modules enabling application that Design is not for the sake of design but for taking issues and problems and using the design process to solve problems of real life. School of Design is established with a view to imparting curriculum and training by facilitating students to works with a variety of problems pertaining to various avocations of local communities and learn from each other’s experiences. Academic programs such as certificate programs, diploma, degree and Ph.D. will be offered from this School.
