Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) consisting of the Medical College and a 750 bedded hospital was established in 2016 as one of the constituent units of Shri Venkateshwara University. VIMS started functioning in 2016 by admitting its rst batch of medical students in 2016 against its sanctioned strength of 150 students. VIMS is having all departments stipulated by MCI with state of art facilities

B.Sc. graduates with Physics and Chemistry optional could be considered for admission to the course. Candidates must have obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate at the qualifying examination.
